ULTRASONIC MODULE SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT
- one of the front windowsOpen
- Adjust the sensitivity to position.trimmers middle
- Arm the alarm by remote control and wait about 60sec. to alow complete signal
saturation inside the cars.
- Introduce an arm and move it. trough the open window
Three ashes and three short acoustic signals will that the arm status LED conrm
movement has been . detected
If this doesn’t happen, increase the sensitivity
clockwise: maximum sensitivity.
anti clockwise: minimum sensitivity.
anti clockwise until the end: sensor excluded.
Finally repeat the test.
PERIMETER COMPARTMENT OPENING TEST:
Close all protected compartments: bonnet, doors boot ;, , windows and lockers
Insert the alarm by remote control and wait 5 seconds;
During the pre-arming time (status LED on) open one , bonnet, trunk and all by one
protected compartment by wireless sensor, and at the end the doors. Three short
beeps and ashing of indicators lights, conrm the compartment opening.
NOTE: Doors test can be veried only after 15 seconds after the alarm is triggered.
EXCLUSION OF ALARM CAUSES
If, during the entire pre- period (30"), 3 beeps signalation, that sensor arming persist the
will be excluded from the causes of alarm and the malfunction will be reported when the
system is turned o (See section alarm memory pag.26)ff.
Alarm TEST
ACC TEST - immediate alarm
- Arm the system by remote control and wait 5 seconds
Attempting to start the engine will immediately cause an alarm condition
POWER wire CUT TEST - immediate alarm
(only for kits combined with a self-powered siren)
Before performing this test, make sure the siren's internal battery is charged;
It takes about 15 hours of car use to get a full charge of the internal battery.
- Arm the system by remote control and wait 5 seconds
Attempting to interrupt the power supply will immediately cause an alarm condition.
