Inspect entire Articulator for loose or entangled parts, debris, obstructions, or neglected tools.
Verify that the battery has sufficient charge to start the engine.
Check engine for abnormal exhaust or sounds.
Check oil pressure and coolant temperature lights.
Check the hydraulic & manual mower deck lift arms for proper lifting and locking operation.
Be sure the operator seat pan & engine cover are properly closed, latched, and secure.
Record the hour meter setting if desired.
Complete the appropriate maintenance checklist (section 5).
