■ Remove the carburetor adjustment tool and re-check the idle speed and the max no load speed
again. Make sure they are correct (Fig. 36).

Carburetor Replacement
■ Remove the air lter cover and air lter.
■ Loosen the 2 screws on the air lter base and remove the air lter base (Fig. 37 & 38).
■ The choke lever is installed on the air lter base. Inspect the lever for signs of wear or damage and
replace if needed. Press and remove the casing pipe, then remove the choke lever (Fig. 39).
NOTE:
Pay attention to the front and back of choke lever when installing.
