AIR & FUEL SYSTEM
■ Remove the carburetor adjustment tool and re-check the idle speed and the max no load speed
again. Make sure they are correct (Fig. 36).

Carburetor Replacement
■ Remove the air lter cover and air lter.
■ Loosen the 2 screws on the air lter base and remove the air lter base (Fig. 37 & 38).
■ The choke lever is installed on the air lter base. Inspect the lever for signs of wear or damage and
replace if needed. Press and remove the casing pipe, then remove the choke lever (Fig. 39).
NOTE:
Pay attention to the front and back of choke lever when installing.
