display

this

operating
features

ranges,

1.2 PURPOSE AND USE
There
are
numerous
applications
of
the
ADM
SA,
all
involving
the
transfer
of
asynchronous
data.
In
some
applications,
data
transfer
may
b€
exclusively
unidirectional;
either
from
the
ADM
3A
to a
host
computer,
or
from
the
computer
to
the
ADM
3A.
However,
a
more
frequent
application
of
thE~
ADM
3A
is
one
in
which
an
operator
communicates
with
the
computer,
and
the
computer
reacts
in
accordance
with
its
stored
program.
The
ADM
3A
features
the
