Preliminary checks
Before proceeding with the set up of BOOST check the following
points:
- Make sure the works within its limits obtainable fromoperator use
the table of technical features.
- Check the gate frame is s and it runs without frictions or otherturdy
hindrances.
- Make sure there is a mechanical stop brake in closing as well as in
opening position.
- Check the works in an area non-subjected to flood risks oroperator
with aggressive atmospheric agents (salt air).
- Make sure the gate is well aligned to the sliding rail. An incorrectly
aligned gate can cause serious damages to reduction gear.
- For the set up of the a free space for maintenanceoperator
operations and manual release is to be provided.
SET UP
Installation of the platebase
If on installation area there is already a foundation for positioning the
base plate, proceed as follows:
- Place the plate on the concrete base, complying with thebase
dimensions shown in fig. 2 and fig. 3.
