SECTION 18.39:
ADJUSTING THE
BACKREST ANGLE
To adjust the width and angle of the femoral
guides, lift the seat cushion up at the front,
, to gain access to the bolts . On the basic
seat there are femoral guides on the outside
of the seat only. On the split seat that are
four sets of femoral guides. Loosen the bolts
and move to the desired position. Tighten to
secure in place.
The backrest angle can be adjusted in two
ways: through the backrest recline mechanism
and through the backrest interface at the base
of the backrest.
To adjust the back angle through the backrest
recline mechanism, locate the locking levers,
, at the rear of the seat. Simultaneously
rotate both levers outwards
, to release the
recline mechanism and move the backrest
into the desired position. Return the levers to
the closed position
, to secure in place.
