The QzHub hardware device allows you to easily control your QMotion Zigbee-
enabled, motorized shades from your phone in conjunction with the Qz App. The
Qz App’s intuitive interface and simple navigation allows you to easily edit, add,
commission, and control local shades.

The QzHub can handle up to 32 nodes (base) to 105 nodes (for full network size, if using Range Extenders). Nodes include
shades, remotes and extenders.
ZigBee 3.0 ready and scalable for future updates
USB expandability with two on-board USB expansion ports
Onboard battery backup utilizing four AA batteries allows for operations, control and communication during power interruptions
Receives updates for rmware, API additions, new devices drivers, technology driver, and feature updates

Summary

Installer Instructions: Adding a New Hub

Add New Hub

Navigate to the Add Devices page and select the hub you want to add.

Discovered Hubs

Hubs connected to the same network as the app device will be displayed.

Activate Hub

Tap the hub and follow on-screen prompts to activate it.

Adding Shades to the Network

Select Hub for Shades

Navigate to Add Devices and select the hub to access the Add Shades page.

Shade Device Added

Tap Join, then manually tug shades into their joining state.

Shade Configuration Options

Tap shade icon for Rename, Set Limits, Identify, or Delete options.

Setting Shade Limits

Nudge Shade Down

Nudges the shade down by the selected amount.

Nudge Shade Up

Nudges the shade up by the selected amount.

Adjust Nudge Distance

Select Nudge Distance and use arrows to adjust shade position.

Confirm Limit Setting

Manually position shade and tap Set Limit to confirm.

Editing Individual Devices

Navigate to Edit Devices

Open navigation menu and select Edit Devices to configure.

View Device Details and Actions

Displays device info, battery, network data, and actions.

Enter and Utilize Tug Command Mode

Learn how to enter command mode and select options via shade tugs.
