      If your Leica Rugby laser level is working but not self-levelling, it might be in Manual Mode. To enable self-levelling, set the Rugby to Automatic Mode by pressing the Automatic/Manual Mode button. When in Automatic Mode, the X-axis LED and the Y-axis LED will flash green while levelling. In Manual Mode, the X-axis LED and/or the Y-axis LED will be red.

      If your Leica Rugby laser level doesn't switch to Manual Mode and beeps three times when pressing the Automatic/Manual Mode button, Manual Mode may be disabled. To enable or disable it, turn off the Rugby, then press and hold both the Automatic/Manual Mode button and the Power button for 5 seconds. The Rugby will beep five times, followed by a longer beep to indicate the change.
