12 TRANSPORT ON PUBLIC ROADS
12.1 Warning boards with lighting equipment
If it is required to drive on public roads
with this cultivator, fit warning boards and
lighting equipment.
The light supports (order No.: 81 1640L)
and warning boards with lighting
equipment (order No.: 80 2011L) are
available as option.
They ensure an orderly marking of the
disc cultivator.
The warning boards with lighting
equipment must be detached before work
so that they cannot be damaged.
12.2 Transport width
The disc cultivator Terradisc 9/400 S and 9/400 SÜ are wider than 3 m and
therefore may not be transported on public roads.
If the Terradisc 9/300 is equipped with wing shares FL37, FL37D or wider wing
shares, it also may not be transported on public roads.
The regulations and laws concerned must be abided by.
12.3 Push linkage
If the Terradisc is used front-mounted, the visibility is influenced. This must be
considered during transport as well as the regulations and laws concerned.
12.4 Axle loads
The Terradisc 9 shows a short distance of
the centre of gravity. Due to that the rear
axle load of the tractor will be increased
between 2,1 to 2,4 times of the weight of
the implement.
Weigh your tractor with mounted and lifted
implement to get the real information about the rear axle loading and the front
axle loading.
