User Settings and Options
User settings allow you to personalize your thermostat and change the way
information is displayed on the home screen, and it helps to optimize the
HVAC system to your comfort level.
1. From the home screen press
MENU. Use the UP or DOWN
buttons until USER SETTINGS is
highlighted. Press SELECT.
2. Choose the setting you would like
to change by pressing the UP or
DOWN button to highlight the de-
sired selection; then press SE-
LECT. The first four settings may
be set as follows:
ºF or ºC settingYou can choose to display the temperature in either
Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C).
Press the UP or DOWN button to
select the temperature display
that you want, then press SE-
LECT.
12 or 24 hour settingYou can choose to display the time in 12−hour
format (default) or 24−hour format (international option).
Press the UP or DOWN button to
select the time display that you
want, then press SELECT.
SHOW SET TEMP settingEach event has a setpoint temperature,
and the default is to display the setpoint on the HOME screen. Choose
whether to display this value or not.
Press the UP or DOWN button to
select whether you want the set-
point temperature displayed or
not, then press SELECT.
EVENTS/DAY settingThis screen allows users to select the num-
ber of events per day. The default number of events per day is 4
(WAKE, MORN, EVE, and NIGHT); the alternate setting is two events
(WAKE and NIGHT).
Press the UP or DOWN button to
select the number of events you
want for the day, then press SE-
LECT.
3. Differential and delay settings de-
termine when a first− or second-
stage demand exists and desired
delay time before the second
stage operation can begin.
4. Choose one of the differential or
relay settings from the User Set-
tings menu. The screen changes
to the differential settings menu.
1ST STAGE DIFFerential is used
in all thermostats.
