Typical Nutanix architecture
A typical Nutanix architecture includes three or more servers that are implemented as a single Nutanix
cluster.
Each server contributes storage to the Nutanix cluster from the local disks on the server:
• Hybrid Cluster – The server provides a combination of solid state disks (SSDs) for caching and hard disk
drives (HDDs) for storage capacity.
• All-Flash Cluster – The server provides SSDs for caching and SSDs for storage capacity.
