Whenthecameraisstarted,thecamerastatusindicatorturnson.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe
programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera
willstartautomaticallyandthecamerastatusindicatorturnsongreen.Formoreinformationaboutusingthe
camerawithaprogram,refertothedocumentationthatcamewiththeprogram.

Yourcomputerhasonemediacardreaderslot.
Themediacardreaderslotsupportsthefollowingfourtypesofcards:

Insertingaashmediacard
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallinganyofthefollowingcards,touchametaltableoragroundedmetal
object.Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
Toinsertaashmediacard,dothefollowing:
1.Locatetheappropriatetypeofslotforyourcard.See“Locatingcomputercontrols,connectors,and
indicators”onpage1.
2.Ensurethatthenotchededgeofthecardisfacingupwardandpointingtowardtothecardslot.
3.Pressthecardrmlyintothecardslot.Thecardmightstopbeforeitiscompletelyinstalledintotheslot.
Ifplug-and-playfeatureisnotenabled,dothefollowing:
1.GotoControlPanelandclickHardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforan
administratorpasswordorconrmation,typethepasswordorprovideconrmation.
2.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
