Completingthepartsreplacement
Aftercompletingtheinstallationorreplacementforallparts,youneedtoreinstallthecomputercover
andreconnectcables.
Toreinstallthecomputercoverandreconnectcables,dothefollowing:
1.Makesurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrews
areleftinsideyourcomputer.See“Locatingcomponents”onpage70
forthelocationsofvarious
componentsinyourcomputer.
2.Makesurethatthecablesareroutedcorrectlybeforereinstallingthecomputercover.Keepcablesclear
ofthehingesandsidesofthecomputerchassistoavoidinterferencewithreinstallingthecomputer
cover.
3.Reinstallthefrontbezelifyouhaveremovedit.See“Removingandreinstallingthefrontbezel”on
page75
.
4.Positionthecomputercoveronthechassissothattherailguidesonthebottomofthecomputercover
engagewiththerailsonthechassis.Then,closethecomputercovertoengagethecover-releasebutton.
