Advancedsettings
Onsomecomputermodels,theAdvancedmenuincludesasettingtoenableordisableHyperThreading.
ThisfeatureworksonlywithHyperThreading-awareoperatingsystems,suchastheWindows7
operatingsystem.ThedefaultsettingforHyperThreadingisenabled.However,ifyouarenotusinga
HyperThreading-awareoperatingsystemandyouselectEnabledforHyperThreading,yourcomputer
performancemightbedegraded.Therefore,youshouldalwayssetHyperThreadingtoDisabledunlessyou
aresureyouroperatingsystemsupportsHyperThreading.
ExitingtheSetupUtilityprogram
Afteryounishviewingorchangingsettings,pressEsctoreturntotheSetupUtilityprogrammainmenu.
YoumighthavetopressEscseveraltimes.Then,youcandooneofthefollowing:
•IfyouwanttosavethenewsettingsandexittheSetupUtilityprogram,pressF10.Otherwise,your
changeswillnotbesaved.
•Ifyoudonotwanttosavethenewsettings,selectExit®ExittheSetupUtilitywithoutsaving.
•Ifyouwanttoreturntothedefaultsettings,pressF9orselectExit®LoadDefaultSettings.
