  If the Lenze AC Tech Control Unit option module has no communications, it may be due to several reasons. First, the module might not be initialized: verify the drive to module connection and check parameters P400 and P402. Second, PROFIBUS-DP settings might be incorrect: check P410 and P411; if unsure, reset PROFIBUS-DP parameters to factory default using P403. Third, improper wiring could be the cause: check the wiring between the PROFIBUS-DP network and communication module, ensure the terminal block is properly seated, and check the connection between the module and the drive.

  If your Lenze AC Tech Control Unit drive stops for no obvious reason, it could be due to one of the PROFIBUS-DP monitoring messages timing out, with its time-out reaction set to STOP. To resolve this, identify the time-out message (P423...P429) and modify the appropriate time-out time or reaction to the time-out settings.

  If PROFIBUS-DP write commands are ignored or return exceptions on your Lenze AC Tech Control Unit, the “Network enabled” terminal is either open or not configured. To fix this, configure one of the input terminals (P121, P122 or P123) to the "Network Enabled" function (selection 9) and close the corresponding contact.

  If the Lenze AC Tech Control Unit module does not enter the Data Exchange State and P419 displays 2 or 3, this could be due to a data size configuration mismatch between the Master and the Drive. Check the configuration sizes for Dout and Din Data, referring to parameters P415 and P416.

  If the Lenze AC Tech Control Unit drive does not change direction to REVERSE, it is possible that parameter P112 is set to 0 (Forward Only). To enable both Forward & Reverse directions, set drive parameter P112 to 1.
