7.1 UPS software Lenze Digitec UPS
7.1.1 Important notes
ƒ The optional UPS is controlled via the Lenze Digitec UPS software, software version
3.3.1 or higher.
ƒ A reliable shutdown through the UPS in the case of a mains voltage failure can only
be achieved if all DOS windows are closed. Therefore please observe that the
window properties are set so that they are closed automatically during shutdown.
7.1.2 Installing software
If you have selected the option ”with UPS” in your order and you have acquired the
operating system on a storage medium from Lenze Digitec, the software will be
preinstalled by default.
Otherwise:
1. Start the setup program on your program CD and follow the instructions of the
setup wizard.
CD path: x:\tools_drivers\ups_usv\usv_software\usv_331\setup.exe
2. After copying the program files, configure the software:
