6.5.1 DC configuration in the master
By default, the use of the DC synchronisation is deactivated in the device description ( 31).
Parameterise the DC synchronisation in the EtherCAT configuration software (e.g. »PLC Designer«,
»TwinCAT«).
Set the synchronisation cycle time in the master. It is mainly defined by the processing time of the
master and the slaves.
 Note!
The synchronisation cycle time ...
• must be an integer multiple of 1 ms;
• may be maximally 15 ms.
