Why is the current consumption of my Lenze DC Drives motor too high?
    • C
      Christopher SmithSep 8, 2025
High current consumption in the motor can be attributed to a few settings. The setting of C016 might be too high, or the setting of C015 might be too low. Additionally, C088 and C091 might not be adapted to the motor data.

What causes grounded motor phase in Lenze DC Drives?
    • D
      debrarodriguezSep 10, 2025
A grounded motor phase can be caused by a grounded motor phase. Check the motor and cable. Also, excessive capacitive charging current of the motor cable can lead to a grounded motor phase; use a motor cable which is shorter or of lower capacitance.

Why is my Lenze EVF8215-EV020 DC Drives motor not rotating smoothly?
    • K
      Kendra MezaSep 12, 2025
If the motor isn't rotating smoothly, it could be due to a defective motor cable. The maximum current C022 and C023 might also be set too low. Another possibility is that the motor is underexcited or overexcited; check the parameter setting.

    Michelle WeaverSep 13, 2025
What to do if mains voltage is too high in Lenze DC Drives?
    • P
      Paul JohnsonSep 13, 2025
If the mains voltage is too high, check the voltage supply. It could also be due to feedback operation during braking. Increase deceleration times. For operation with brake choppers, check the selection and connection of the brake resistor and increase the deceleration times. Another cause may be Earth leakage on the motor side, check motor cable and motor for earth fault (disconnect motor from inverter).

    Kelly MillerSep 15, 2025
What causes faulty parameter transfer via the operating module in Lenze DC Drives?
    • Q
      qhuntSep 15, 2025
If PAR1 and PAR2 are defective, it can cause a faulty parameter transfer. It is absolutely necessary to repeat the data transfer or load the factory setting before enabling the controller.

What causes faulty auto-TRIP reset in Lenze DC Drives?
    • S
      Samuel ChurchSep 18, 2025
Faulty auto-TRIP reset is caused by more than 8 fault messages in 10 minutes. The solution depends on the fault message.
