Residual hazards
Even if notes given are taken into consideraon and protecve measures are implemented,
the occurr
ence of residual risks cannot be fully prevented.
The user must take the residual hazards menoned into consideraon in the risk assessment
for his/her machine/system.
If the above is disregarded, this can lead to severe injuries to persons and damage to prop-
erty!
Protecon of persons
It is not permissible for the product to perform funcons for the protecon of persons and
machine without a higher-level safety system..
Before working on the product, check that all power terminals have been deenergised. High-
frequency voltages can be capacively transferred to the motor housing due to inverter feed-
ing. Carefully earth the product at the marked places.
Where appropriate, you must equip the system/machine with addional monitoring and pro-
tecve devices in accordance with the respecvely applicable safety requirements. Danger of
injury due to rotang parts. Before working on the product, wait unl the drive comes to a
standsll.
Installed brakes are no fail-safe brakes.
Surface and corrosion protecon
The motors can be used for the following ambient condions:
•
Indoor installaon, no special corrosion protecon necessary
•
Painng by customer possible
Aluminium parts are not coated, fan cowls are zinc-coated or primed with grey
pain

Lubricants
The motors are delivered

service life
The amount and type of lubricant contained are shown on the nameplate.
Gearboxes and geared motors from Lenze are delivered lled with a lubricant specically
chosen for the drive and the type of construcon. The amount of lubricant depends on the
mounng
