LED status display
The status LED directly above the LAN ports shows the current status of the IoT Gateway.
Aer switching on, the IoT Gateway passes through various states to establish a connecon to the
X4 Remote Plaorm. The nal status is signalled aer about 2 minutes.

à Insert USB data carrier to register again.

à Remove from X4 Remote Plaorm and register again.

Set up a VPN connecon.

The signal LED is only available on the Wi-Fi/4G versions and shows informaon on recepon.

Device cannot unlock the SIM card. The PIN code may be incorrect or the PUK code may be required
because the wrong PIN code was entered three mes.
à Check PIN code:
Open the conguraon le (router.conf) with a text editor and search for "pincode =". If the PIN code
entered behind it is incorrect, change it and load the new conguraon into the device. Alternavely,
create a new conguraon le.
à Unlock locked SIM card with a PUK code:
Insert the SIM card into a mobile phone and enter the PUK code when prompted. You received the PUK
code together with your SIM card. Contact your provider if you have lost both codes.

The SIM card is invalid or missing.
à Check that the SIM card is correctly inserted in the SIM card slot.
à If correctly placed, insert the SIM card into a mobile phone and check that the SIM card works
properly. If this is not the case, contact your provider.
