• Uneven Surface – Examine the printer to see if it sits on a sturdy, even plane with all four feet
securely on the surface. If not, the printer frame will torque and cause print skew or other
hardware failures.
• Tray Guides – Check the two tray guides to see if they are broken or not placed against the
paper properly. These guides help keep the paper positioned so it doesn’t twist as it is pulled into
the paper path by the pick rolls.
The Tray Guides are positioned securely against
the paper.
The front Tray Guide is too snug against the
paper and causing it to bend.
