• Reference Edge – This printer does not use registration rolls to adjust paper prior to entering the
EP Process; it uses a Reference Edge to adjust skew as the paper travels to the 2
nd
Transfer Roll
and ITU.
- Skew is corrected by two angled rollers driving the paper up against the side of the metal
plate. The path of the paper through the Reference Edge is slightly different if the paper is
entering from the duplex unit.
