Scanning a photo to an e-mail
1 Open the top cover.
2 Place your photo face down on the scanner bed in the bottom, right corner.
3 Close the top cover.
4 Press Scan To until you see E-mail on the display.
5 Press Scan.
6 Enter an e-mail address on your screen.
7 Click Send.
Scanning a photo to a file
1 Open the top cover.
2 Place your photo face down on the scanner bed in the bottom, right corner.
3 Close the cover.
4 Click Start Programs Lexmark X83 Scan & Copy Control Program.
5 Click File Setup Scan tab to customize the settings.
6 Click the Scan To File button.
