3 To dissolve dried ink, hold the damp cloth against the nozzles for about three
seconds. Gently blot and wipe dry.
4 Dampen another section of clean, lint-free cloth with water and gently wipe the gold
contact area.
Warning: Do not wipe the nozzles and contacts with the same section of cloth.
5 To dissolve dried ink, hold the damp cloth against the nozzles for about three
seconds. Gently blot and wipe dry. Let the gold-colored areas dry before you reinsert
the cartridge into the printer.
Reinstall the cartridge and repeat the nozzle test. For help, see page 75.
