3.4.4 User Dest. Profile
This option controls whether a user uploaded destination profile should be used. The device output color
space is defined as CMYK or Grey.
If no destination profile is found applicable in the IPDS data the User Destination
Profile will be used. If no User Destination Profile is present in the printer, the
IPDS uses a built-in destination profile adapted for the specific printer model as
the default destination profile.

6 Color Management – User Files on page 65 for more
information on uploading user files.
Ignore the User Destination Profile. The IPDS uses a build-in destination profile
adapted for the specific printer model as the default destination profile.
3.4.5 RGB Grey to K
This option controls how to handle RGB Grey colors where the R, G, B values are equal.
Convert RGB Color to pure K (Black) for Colors where R=G=B).
Do not apply any special processing for Grey colors where R=G=B.
3.4.6 Preserve Black
This option controls how to handle pure black in CMYK.
Convert input colors to pure K for CMYK black (K only).
Do not apply special processing for CMYK pure black
3.4.7 Black Point Comp
This option controls enabling of the Black Point Compensation algorithm.
Enable Black Point Compensation. This option applies an algorithm that follows
the description from Adobe Systems’ implementation of black point
compensation. The option may produce better visibility in details of dark areas.
Do not apply Black Point Compensation.
3.4.8 Embedded ICC Prof
This option controls whether to use the ICC profile embedded in the IPDS object. If an applicable Audit
Color Correction (CC) CMR is directly associated with the IPDS object to render, this Audit CC CMR will
always be used as input profile regardless of the setting of this option.
If no applicable Audit CC CMR is directly associated with the IPDS object to
render, then use the embedded profile in the IPDS objects.
