3.6.4 Disassembling the Front End
Remove the fastening screws of the rear end plate
(10/2).
Tighten the nuts on the 2 tapered dowel pins (10/1) until
the pins are loose.
Remove the rear end plate (10/2) with O-ring (10/11).
Pull out the slide valve (10/4).
Pull the piston (10/9) off the cam.
Only if the piston bushings (10/8) are damaged: Force
the bushings out of the piston. They must be replaced if
their Teflon coating is damaged.
Pull the cam (10/7) off the shaft (special tools 1 and 7).
If the shaft bushing (10/10) is damaged, force it out of the
rear end plate.
Remove the side cover (10/6) with O-ring (10/5).
