Check Audio System
If the audio output has a problem, check if Synaptics SmartAudio HD is properly displayed in the device manager menu.
If it shows Synaptics SmartAudio HD, proceed as follows.
1 If just one of the left and right speakers does not output sounds, replace the speaker.
2 If neither of speakers outputs sounds, check if the H/P terminal output is normal.
3 If the H/P terminal output is normal, replace the speaker and check again.
4 If neither of speaker or H/P terminal operates properly, replace the system board.
If the device manager menu does not show Synaptics SmartAudio HD, proceed as follows.
1 If you don't see audio device at all, replace the system board.
2 If the audio device name is incorrectly displayed or a yellow bang mark is displayed, reinstall the driver.
3 If the audio device is not accurately displayed after reinstalling the driver, replace the system board.
Check Communication Module
If the wireless communication has a problem, go to ‘Device Manager’ > ‘Network Adapter’ and check the wireless module (WIFI/
BT) information.
When the wireless module (WIFI/BT) is not visible
1 Right-click [Network Adapter] in Device Manager and select the [Scan for hardware changes] menu.
2 If the device is not visible after search, check that the latest driver is installed in the ‘Program’ of the Control Panel.
3 If the problem continues after applying above measures, replace the sub-board and check whether the device is visible.
When a yellow exclamation point is displayed on the wireless module (WIFI/BT)
1 Check that the latest driver is installed in the ‘Program’ of the Control Panel.
2 2 If the driver is not the latest version, uninstall the previous driver and install the latest version.
3 3 If the driver is properly installed, reconnect or replace the module and check whether the problem continues.
