3 When the Text input mode you need is selected,
enter text in the text message box using the
selected text input mode.
Using T9 Mode
T9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you to
enter words faster. This text input mode is based on
a built-in dictionary.
To enter a word in T9 mode:
1 Follow steps 1 through 3 of the previous section.
Then enter the text. Press each key only once for
each letter.
Example: To enter “Hello” in T9 mode, press the 4,
3, 5, 5, and 6 keys.
Enter the whole word before editing or deleting the
keystrokes.
2 If the word you want to enter is displayed, go to
step 4.
If the word does not display correctly, press
the Next soft key to change the next matching
word. Press the Next soft key until the word you
want appears. If the word you want does not
appear, see the “To add a new word into the T9
dictionary” section in the following page.
