  If your LG Refrigerator or Freezer isn't cooling, first check if the refrigerator control is set to OFF and turn it ON. Refer to the Setting the Controls section for proper temperature settings. If the refrigerator is in the defrost cycle, wait 30 minutes to confirm the proper temperature has been restored. If the refrigerator was recently installed or relocated, it may take up to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature. If it was moved on its side, allow it to stand upright for 24 hours before connecting it to power.

  Several factors can cause your LG Refrigerator to not dispense ice. Ensure all refrigerator doors are completely closed. If the dispenser is used infrequently, check the ice bin for clumping. If the delivery chute is clogged with frost or ice, remove the ice bin and clear the chute with a plastic utensil. Check if the dispenser display is locked and unlock it by pressing and holding the Lock button for three seconds. If the ice bin is empty, it may take up to 90 minutes for more ice to be available.

  There are several reasons why your LG refrigerator might not be dispensing water. If it's a new installation or the water line was recently connected, dispense 2.5 gallons of water to remove trapped air. Ensure the dispenser panel is not locked by pressing and holding the Lock button for three seconds. Make sure the dispenser is set for water dispensing by pressing the Water button. Check that the refrigerator or freezer doors are closed properly. If the water filter was recently removed or replaced, dispense 2.5 gallons of water to flush the system.
