Set Up a Gmail™ Account
You can add a Gmail account at any time.
1. Tap
> > Settings > Accounts & sync.
2. Tap ADD ACCOUNT > Google.
3. Follow the instructions to set up or sign in
to a Gmail account.
Note: Although you need a Gmail Account to
use certain features such as Google Play
™
,
you do not have to use Gmail as the default
account for your phone.
Set Up an Email Account
1. Tap > > Email .
2. Follow the instructions to sign in to your
email account.

Tap MANUAL SETUP to confi gure your
connection settings manually (POP3, IMAP,
or Exchange). Follow the on-screen prompts
and enter the information specifi c to
your carrier.

For Microsoft Exchange accounts, contact
your server administrator for required
sign-in information.
Note: If you‘re not sure about your account,
tap NEXT after entering your email address
and password. If your phone can’t
autoconfi gure your account, you’ll then be
asked to confi gure it manually.
