Connections

Input Connections

Controls

Display Window

The front panel Lexan window houses a green backlight LCD displaying source and volume settings with embedded control buttons.

Input Selector

Pressing the Input selector scrolls through CD, TUNER, AUX1, AUX2, AUX3 inputs. Inputs are also directly accessible via remote.

Power On;Off

Use the Power button to switch the amplifier on or off. Press once to turn on, press again to return to standby.

Monitor

The MONITOR button selects TAPE input and outputs signal via TAPE OUT for listening to sources or monitoring recordings.

Volume △▽

Volume Up/Down buttons control output level for all channels. Display shows volume levels with 32 segments per bar.

Remote Control Functions

Power On;Off

Press the POWER button to switch the amplifier from standby to operating mode, and vice versa.

Volume Controls

The REAR VOL button switches volume control between main, rear, and subwoofer channels for adjustment.

Stereo in 4-Channel

ST IN 4 CH button enables Stereo in 4 Channel function, feeding front channel music to both front and rear channels.

Mute

Pressing MUTE reduces output level to barely audible. Pressing again restores the previous volume setting.

Display

Pressing DISPLAY turns off the front panel illumination. Pressing again turns the illumination back on.

CD;TUNER;AUX1;AUX2;AUX3

Buttons select listening sources connected to the amplifier's corresponding inputs.

Volume Settings

Overall Volume Control

Vol ▲ or ∇ buttons increase/decrease overall volume. Two bars move right as volume increases, showing 32 levels.

5.1 Channel Volume Control

Selecting AUX1 changes volume mode to 5.1. Vol ▲ or ∇ controls Center/Rear channels alongside main and subwoofer.

Rear Channel Volume Control

Pressing REAR VOL allows temporary adjustment of Rear Channels volume separately using Vol ▲ or ∇ buttons.

Subwoofer Volume Control

Pressing REAR VOL twice allows temporary adjustment of Subwoofer volume separately using Vol ▲ or ∇ buttons.

Operating Modes

2-Channel Stereo (plus Subwoofer)

Operates in 2-channel stereo mode for CD, Tuner, AUX2, AUX3 inputs, amplifying front left/right channels. Subwoofer also operates.

5.1-Channel Surround

Operates in 5.1 Channel Mode via AUX1 input, amplifying all channels for SACD, DVD-Audio, or surround sources.

4-Channel Stereo (plus Subwoofer)

ST IN 4 CH button feeds source signal to front and rear channels for 4-channel playback of the same source.

Bi-Amplification

Allows bi-amplification of main speakers in a 2-channel system by connecting speaker cables to specific inputs.
