Set Velocity RPM + Set Torque % (Both Red SWs)
Pressing both Red switches together will display the Acceleration Function
currently in use. This will be displayed as: Acc0, Acc1, Acc2, Acc3, or Acc4.
The Acceleration Function can then be changed up/dn by pressing the
white Step buttons. Holding the Step buttons will produce auto repeat. The
maximum value is 4 and the minimum is 0.

6.3 Actual Accel/Velocity Profiles
To control the acceleration of the load, a finite amount of rotational travel
must be utilized. Since the rotational travel for a particular movement may
be different, the LT360 utilizes three different families of acceleration
functions for various step size minimums of: 3.2 degrees, 1.0 degrees, and
0.1 degrees. Depending on the size of the rotation, the appropriate
function family will be chosen.
To describe these functions with actual numeric values, we will assume a
mass load at a radial distance of 1 Meter from the rotational axis. This is
shown in the pictorial here.
The mass travels around a
circle with a radius of 1
Meter, for a total travel of
6.28 Meters.
If we assume a nominal
circular velocity of 1 RPM,
then the linear velocity of
the mass is approx
0.105M/S (6.28M/60Sec).
Acceleration at a different
RPM is proportional to the
square of the change, and
is linearly proportional to
the change in radius.
