2.7 Working schematic drawing
The specications of the protector contains ve parts spaced by “- ”; the st part denotes the light curtain;
the second part denotes the detection precision; the third part denotes protection height; the fourth part
denotes the output way; the fth part denotes other information.
For example:
S4-14-113 - P - W S4 series, the detection precision is 14mm, the protection height is 113mm, PNP
output and using the Right-angle bracket.
Additive information:
Y: Integrated steel pipe bracket;
F: Split steel pipe bracket;
Z: Combine bracket;
W: Right-angle bracket;
S: Double rotatable arms steel pipe
bracket;
T: Special request
Output way (one letter):
N: NPN output,
P: PNP output.
Protection height
(three or four letters):
for example,113,1493
Detection precision(two letters):
14: 14mm, 21: 21mm, 36: 36mm

The protector consists of emitter,receiver,signal cables. The light curtain can form infrared light
curtain, detect the signal of passing or intercepting, transmits the the signal of passing or intercepting
light through the signal cable through .
