4. Set the ignition switch to ON.
5. Pull the cranking rope starter.
Cranking rope starter:
Slightly pull the handle of the cranking rope starter until you
feel some resistance and then pull it vigorously.
Let the cranking rope handle slowly return to its starting
position.
6. If the choke lever for cold starting the engine was in the
CLOSED position, move it slowly to the OPEN position while
the engine warms up.
STOPPING THE ENGINE
To stop the engine in an emergency situation simply set the
ignition switch to OFF.
Proceed as follows under normal conditions:
1. Set the throttle lever to SLOW.
2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
3. Set the fuel valve to OFF.
ADJUSTING THE ENGINE SPEED
Set the throttle lever to FAST.
Set the throttle lever to the required speed.
