Using the Main Menu
To configure Motion settings:
1 F
rom the Device menu, click Motion.
2 Co
nfigure the following:
• Channel: Sel
ect the channel you wish to
apply the settings to.
• Motion Detect: Select Enable to activate
motion detection.
• Sensitivity: Select the sensitivity of the
motion detection trigger. The greater the
number, the greater the sensitivity.
• Area: Click Setup to open a motion
detection grid. The motion detection grid
allows you to select the area of where you
want the system to monitor motion.
To configure the Motion Area grid:

where you want to disable motion
detection.
NOTE: By def
ault, the entire screen has
motion activation selected.
• Areas marked with red boxes indicate
motion det
ection is activated.
• Areas marked with black boxes indicate
motion detection is de-activated.

ick to exit the window.
3 Click Appl
y to save your settings.
When you search for a video, the system
will mark the
search calendar with red
boxes to indicate that motion occurred
on that particular day.
