Why is the Lukas Cutter cylinder not extending fully?

First, check if there's insufficient hydraulic fluid in the hand pump and refill if needed. Ensure the pressure relief valve on the hand pump is closed. Also, tighten any loose hydraulic couplings. Air in the hydraulic system can also cause this issue, so vent the system according to section 6.1. Finally, if the cylinder piston is jammed, have it repaired by an authorised dealer, by personnel specially trained by LUKAS, or by LUKAS itself.
