7.3 MAIN FUNCTIONS
Controlling the movement
The horizontal rotation of the searchlight is maneuvered by the panel wheel and the vertical
tilt by a proportional joystick. Horizontal rotation is endless 360 ° while the tilt is limited
between -30° to +90°. For best user experience, the wheel-to-searchlight sensitivity can be
adjusted in the user menu, Control ratio.
The tiltjoystick direction according to the searchlight tilt movement can be reversed if decided
by operator. To revers, please see Users menu > Joystick direction.
The default setting: joystick forward/up = light beam down, backward/down = light beam up.
The joystick will also be used to navigate in menus containing more than one choice.
Move the joystick up or down to navigate in the menu
Warning: Automatic rotation at power on.
Searchlight will start rotating during calibration process.
To avoid accident, cut power before any work on or nearby the searchlight.
Warning: Optical Radiation.
This fixture generates powerful visible light.
Avoid looking directly at the light source as this may injure the eyes.
