Setting up your MoCA® adapter
The settings of your DualGig-2.5 MoCA® adapter are at the time of delivery
as such that mounting is “plug & play”. After connecting your adapters, no
additional settings in the adapters are necessary for the data transfer.
In the menu of each adapter are a number of settings so that you can adjust
some settings for that adapter, or if you want to know the speed between the
adapters, for example.
Open the menu
The adapter receives its IP address from your cable modem. You can nd
this IP address in the list of IP addresses in your cable modem. Type this IP
address in your address bar of your browser.
Can’t nd the address in the cable modem? Then it may be that the IP is
static and then uses this IP address: 192.168.144.200 (in that case connect
your PC or laptop to the MoCA® adapter and set the IP address of your
computer or laptop in the same network ID and give a different Host ID, e.g.
192,168.144.150).
A screen opens in which the password (default: admin) and the login code
(default: admin) are requested
Change your password and/or login as soon as possible via the menu.
