Starting / Stopping
> Hold the product stable and pull recoil
starter handle (15) slowly until you feel
a denite resistance and then give it
a brisk, strong pull. Repeat until the
engine starts (Fig. 10).
NOTE: If the engine cannot start after
8timesofpulling,ortheenginestalls
quickly, move the choke lever (8) to
the “open” position and repeat this
step until the engine starts.
> When the engine starts, move the
choke lever (8) to the ‘open’ position (Fig. 11).
> Allow the product to run at idle speed for 30 seconds to let it
warm up;
> Oncetheengineisrunningcorrectly,carefullylifttheproductand
securely hold it by its handles.
If engine is warm:
> Ensure the choke lever (8) to the “OPEN” position (Fig. 11).
> Pullrecoilstarterhandle(15)slowlyuntilyoufeeladeniteresistance
andthengiveitabrisk,strongpull.Repeatuntiltheenginestarts
(Fig. 10).
> Oncetheengineisrunning,carefullylifttheproductandsecurely
hold it by its handles.
WARNING! Make sure that the cutting device is not
touching the ground or other objects when starting the
product!
Allow the recoil starter rope to return slowly and controlled
after each pull!
NOTE: If the engine stalls or cuts out when you hold the
throttletriggertoaccelerate,restarttheengineandletthe
engine warm up for 30 seconds or more at idle.
During idle running the cutting device should not move.
Contactaqualiedtechnicianifyoundthatthecutting
device is moving.
