3. OPERATION AND USE
3.1. Hydraulic system
HC:
can be positioned in any direction
For HCW models, please install a 8 litres expansion chamber to protect the product
from water shocks and to avoid continuous pump restarts in case of little flow.
HCA models need 20 litres expansion chamber.
o Tank pressure = 0,6 x set system pressure. (this value must be measured with no
pressure in pipeline)
we recommend:
o that it be installed near the pump; if mounted directly on the pump check that there are
no harmful vibrations.
o the use of piping with a diameter not smaller than the HC connections ones.
o To protect from dirty water the device and water system, ensure that a filter is installed
(note 1)
the installation of an external check valve is not required. However if it is mounted it will enhance
the sealing potential of the system.
Before proceeding with hydraulic installation of the HC it is essential to prime the
pump.
Note1:water always contains extraneous bodies, impurities that should not enter in the
hydraulic plant because they cause corrosions in the pipes damaging the equipment connected
to the hydraulic system. The filtering of water for domestic use is prescribed by the UNI-CTI
8065 provisions. Installing a filter is not an optional but a precise european disposition.
