If the cutterbar is plugging, several factors could be at play. It might be that the blades are dull, bent, or badly worn, in which case you should replace them. Another cause could be a build-up of dirt between the rock guards, so decreasing the mower conditioner angle and increasing flotation might help. In some cases, it may be necessary to carry the mower conditioner slightly with lower skid shoes. Finally, the conditioner drive belt might be slipping, requiring you to adjust the conditioner drive belt tension.
