Security settings
In order to configure the Wi-Fi connections select option “Basic
Settings” from the “Wireless” menu. Next enter the encryption type
and enter the required network key. Only encryption types WEP,
WPA and WPA2 are available. These settings depend on the selected
operating mode of the Wi-Fi repeater, i.e. Access Point or repeater
(repeater). The option “Wireless Enable” can be used to switch the
Wi-Fi off or on. The option “SSID” allows a name to be assigned to
the network. Leave “Channel” option on “Auto”. In the operating
mode “Repeater”, the SSID parameters, encoding (security type) and
network key must correspond with those of the router and you have
to enter your personal data for the Access Point. Click on “Apply“, to
accept your settings.
