13.9.1 SECURITY COMPONENTS
EMS ECU, UICU and the transponder key. All the three components authenticate with each
other during every ignition cycle. Either one of it failed to authenticate or absent, will result in
immobilization of vehicle

• This combination is registered when there is No
acknowledgement received from the EMS ECU for the
UICU response over EMS ECU challenge
DTC REACTIONS
• Immobilizer check lamp: OFF
• Engine check lamp: BLINKS
• Starter will engage, but vehicle will not start
HEALING CONDITION
• Ignition OFF/ON
• Fault not present
• Disturbance in CAN circuit
• UICU Faulty
• Mode Flashing interrupted
