NORMAL OPERATION
• Ignition ON
• After successful security authentication, vehicle
starts normally
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
• This combination is registered when the EMS ECU is
not connecting or not in CAN
DTC REACTIONS
• Cluster will not wake up
• Starter will not engage
HEALING CONDITION
• Ignition OFF/ON
• Fault not present
• EMS ECU not communicating
• EMS ECU internal failure
13.7.2 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
STEP 1 – CHECK EMS ECU CONNECTIVITY
PRE CONDITION
• Turn ON ignition
TEST PROCEDURE
• Connect i—SMART diagnostic tool to the vehicle OBD port and check whether EMS ECU
is connecting
