• Go to step 3
• Check the wiring harness for any open or
short circuit and replace or repair the wiring
harness
STEP 3 – CHECK THE BATTERY VOLTAGE IN IGNITION INPUT WIRE
PRE CONDITION
• Ignition OFF
• Remove the UICU connector C 116
• Ignition ON
TEST PROCEDURE
• Check the battery voltage at pin number 6 of C 116
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
• Is the battery voltage is 12V
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
OK NOT OK
• Go to step 4
• Check the wiring harness for any open or
short circuit and replace or repair the wiring
harness
STEP 4 – CHECK THE UICU GROUND WIRE
PRE CONDITION
• Ignition OFF
• Remove the UICU connector C 116
• Remove the ground terminal G 25
TEST PROCEDURE
• Check for resistance between pin number 4 of C 116 and G 25 ground point wire end
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
• Is the resistance value is <1Ω
