CHECKLIST FOR REMEDYING FAULTS
FAULT: Machine will not start Possible causes Fault remedy
Contactor defective or does not pick up
properly.
Dirt in control cabinet; power cable too long
or cable diameter too small; stand-by gen-
erator has not enough power.
Have contactor replaced by a qualified elec-
trician; only use cable with diameter of at
least 5x4 mm².
Rotor is stuck in stator.
Unsuitable material, not enough water, ec-
centric pump not lubricated.
Dismantle pump, clean, lubricate, reassem-
ble, replace rotor and stator if necessary.
Water pressure sensor defective
Water dirty. Replace water pressure sensor.
Machine will not start although power and
water supplies are in order.
Safety screen with bag opener not mounted
properly or removed or proximity switch
defective; water pressure sensor defective
Fit safety screen with bag opener, check
proximity switch for damage and replace, if
necessary; check that water pressure sensor
is functioning (blue light is illuminated sensor
is ok) and replace, if necessary.
Water system filter soiled.
Water dirty; water drawn from river or con-
tainer.
Clean or replace water supply filter and/or
reversible flow filter screen.
FAULT: mixing motor, vibrator or remote
control not functioning.
Components not plugged in or circuit breaker
tripped because overloaded. A connected
component is defective (e.g. short circuit)
Switch on circuit breaker in control cabinet.
Check each individual component for proper
function.
FAULT: mortar flow too thick or thin
Unsuitable material; not enough water; mixer
worn out; pressure reducing valve not set
properly; soiled or defective stator and/or
rotor worn or defective; pump outlet blocked.
Use machine-processable material; replace
mixer or motor coupling; clean mixing cham-
ber; find cause and rectify fault.
FAULT: mortar only intermittent
Unsuitable material; poor mixing; mixer or
motor coupling defective or worn.
Use machine-processable material; replace
mixer or motor coupling; clean mixing cham-
ber; find cause and rectify fault.
FAULT: mixing motor overloaded
Hose too long; worm pump blocked; because
material to dry; defect moisture in motor coil.
Rectify fault, if possible. Machine can be
restarted once the red “FAULT” indicator has
gone off. Check or replace mixing motor if
necessary.
