Repair
1. Work on the electrical supply may only be car-
ried out by authorized electricians. Inspect the
machine’s electrical system regularly. Obvious
defects, such as loose connections, singed ca-
bles etc. must be rectified immediately.
Repairs to the electrical system,
especially installation, connection
and opening of control cabinets
which are fed by the power supply
system, may only be carried out by
authorized personnel.

2. In accordance with use as prescribed, the ma-
chine may only be started if the manufacturer’s
operating instructions are observed.
3. All safety instruction labels and warnings, and
all devices attached to the machine for safety
and accident prevention must always be legi-
ble, and may not be altered or removed.
4. Check that the machine is safe for operation
before every start-up. If any faults occur, pro-
ceed as follows:
Minor faults that do not affect safety:
Shut down the machine at once, remedy the fault
and notify the supervisor if necessary.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
MANUAL OPERATION
Faults that affect safety:
The machine may only be operated if all the safety
devices are functioning properly.
Stop operation of the machine immediately, notify
the supervisor and have the faults rectified by au-
thorized personnel.
Before switching on the machine, ensure that no-
body is at risk when it starts.
Inspect the machine for visible damage and check
that the safety devices are in proper service condi-
tion at least once a day.
