Loosen the lever on the depth guide and move the base up or down. Secure the base by tightening the lever.
Loosen the lever on the bevel scale plate and clamping screw. Set angle by tilting, then tighten.
Use the lock lever by setting it in locked position. Push down and turn 90° counter-clockwise to lock.
Ensure blade teeth point up. Use Makita wrench. Release lock lever of blade steady device.
The rip fence allows accurate straight cuts. Slide it snugly against the workpiece and secure with screw.
Adjust the adjusting screw with hex wrench while squaring blade with base using a triangular rule.
Tool is warranted to be free of defects for ONE YEAR from original purchase. Return for repair if trouble develops.
