Exposure Compensation May be Applied Using the Close-up Table
Reading the Close-up Table
The Distance to object’ in the table is the distance from the front frame of the lens to
the subject.
With close-up photography, the lens’ extension is large and the amount of light
reaching the film is reduced. Therefore, it is necessary to increase exposure.
When using an external light meter, use the above table to determine the correct
exposures. If using an AE prism finder, no exposure correction is necessary.
