Mamiya 645 - Lens Care

 Always handle the lens carefully, and take care not to drop it or subject it to a strong
impact.
 The lens is NOT water resistant. Wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth if it becomes wet. If the
lens is exposed to salt air, wipe it off with a soft, damp cloth.
 Never leave the lens in areas that are exposed to naphthalene, formalin, or other
chemical gasses. Such gasses can damage the lens.
 Clean the lens by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Never use solvents to clean the lens.
Doing so can cause discoloration of the lens finish.
 If the lens surface becomes dirty or smudged with fingerprints, gently wipe it with a
piece of soft, clean gauze.
 If you have trouble cleaning the lens surface, or if you discover mold forming on it,
contact your nearest Mamiya service provider.
 Be sure to carefully read all of the precautions contained in this manual before
using this lens.
